How Creators United Ltd uses personal information across our website and CUOS.
Who we are
Creators United Ltd is the controller of the personal information covered by this policy. For questions, requests or concerns, contact info@creatorsunited.co.uk.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide through enquiries and emails, including name, email address, company, social handles and proposal details. We may collect technical visit information through hosting, security and cookie technologies. CUOS may process creator, brand and campaign contact details, content linked to campaigns, performance metrics, deliverables, invoices, payments and expenses.
Cookies and analytics
We use a cookie preference banner on this website. Analytics cookies are used only if you choose to accept them. When accepted, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand pseudonymous website usage, including pages viewed, traffic source, device and browser information, link clicks and email enquiry intent. We use this information to improve the website and understand commercial interest; we do not use it to identify visitors or make decisions about individuals. You can reject analytics cookies in the banner or clear your browser cookies to change your choice.
CUOS, creator portal and OAuth
CUOS allows authorised users to manage profiles, invoices, campaign delivery, content linked to campaigns and performance information. It may process account details, creator associations, uploaded documents, activity, authorised social metrics and campaign records. When you connect YouTube, Meta/Instagram, TikTok or another platform via OAuth, you authenticate directly with that platform. We do not receive or store your platform password. We receive and securely store the authorised access token and permitted data only to provide the connection, analytics, campaign reporting and related CUOS features. You can disconnect an account in CUOS or revoke access through the relevant platform.
How we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries; manage creator, brand and supplier relationships; deliver campaigns; provide CUOS features; manage campaign delivery, invoicing, finance and reporting; protect our systems; and meet legal obligations. We rely on legitimate interests for normal operations and direct business communications, contractual necessity where services are agreed, legal obligations where applicable, and consent where required.
Sharing, transfers and retention
We use trusted providers for hosting, authentication, storage, email, analytics and professional services. They process information only under our instructions or as required by law. We do not sell personal data. Where providers process data outside the UK, we use appropriate safeguards. We retain information only as long as needed for the purpose, business records and legal requirements. Call recordings, where made, are retained for 90 days before deletion.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing, as applicable. You can withdraw consent at any time and opt out of marketing by contacting us. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
